Abstract Requirements

Abstracts should be submitted in one of the following two formats.
Authors must indicate their preference for an oral presentation or a poster session.
Authors should also identify a specific conference track for which their abstract may be most appropriate (see the 6 tracks). The formats and track categories will help conference planners to organize the program and construct an index of sessions for use by conference participants.

Format I — Scientific or Programmatic Research Findings
This format is most appropriate for the presentation of scientific or programmatic research findings. The abstract should disclose primary findings and not include statements such as "study in progress" or "results will be discussed".

Format II — Descriptive Summary
This format is most appropriate for description of programs or other immunization activities, including descriptions of community-based programs, policy or advocacy efforts, and models for program dissemination and evaluation.

The abstract text must conform to a structured format, including each of the headings listed above (enter n/a for any sections which are not applicable).
