Biographical Sketch:
Over 25 years data analysis and presentation experience within Public Health, including the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and the Georgia Division of Public Health. Published journal articles on the use of GIS for focusing Public Health programs on specific populations.
Currently working on development of data quality assurance protocols and execution of data quality processes for the data sources that are used in the Georgia Division of Public Health's OASIS suite of web query and mapping tools for health and demographic data.
Michael also presents and trains new users in the use of the OASIS.
In the case of the Motor Vehicle Crash tool, Michael used his domain expertise in the area of Motor Vehicle Crashes to assist with the design of the web query interface.
