Biographical Sketch:
Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. 15 years of experience consulting on research studies using randomized clinical trials and observational studies in many domains, including medical devices, educational interventions, healthcare communication methods and LEP populations. Seven years experience working with various Biosurveillance projects, including developing data visualizations and implementing innovative informatics architectures. Four years experience working on visualizations for the Distribute project and data quality analysis. Distribute is a national, emergency department syndromic surveillance project that aggregates influenza-like-illness (ILI) data transmitted from existing state and local public health department surveillance systems.
