Biographical Sketch:
2001 - Present Manager of ASHA's National HPV and Cervical Cancer Prevention Resource Center
--Across all HPV topics, responsible for: developing patient and health care provider education materials; media outreach and public relations; oversight of all HPV contact centers; developing training curricula for staff. Additionally, served as supervisor of ASHA's National HPV Hotline, and currently moderate ASHA's HPV message board forums, where I answer questions about HPV for the general public.
Publications:
--Managing editor and senior writer since 2003 for HPV News, a bi-monthly journal that covers all aspects of HPV research, product development, and regulatory and policy issues.
--Written and produced ASHA brochures: Ask How You Can Prevent Cervical Cancer, HPV Vaccines, HPV: A Guide for Men. Edited and revised HPV in Perspective: A Patient's Guide, HPV and Cervical Cancer Screening, Q&A About HPV and Genital Warts.
--Developed a PowerPoint presentation on HPV and cervical cancer prevention for peer organizations and stakeholders to use
