Biographical Sketch:
2000-present: Health Program Associate CT DPH Coordinator of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program, Hartford, CT. Responsible for programatic and budget aspects of the CT Diabetes Prevention and Control Program. Work with partners across the state including community health centers, diabetes educators, community based organizations and others on various projects to improve diabetes outcomes
1997-2000: Diabetes Educator at the Joslin Diabetes Center affliliate at New Britain General Hospital, New Britain, CT. One to one Counseling and group classes for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
1987-1997: Health Promotion at the New Britain General Hospital, New Britain , CT. Conducted individual and group education for cholesterol and weight managment.
1984-1987: Nutritionist foe the Women Infants and Children Program at Bristol Hospital, Bristol, CT. Nutrition Counseling for pregnant and breast feeding women and their children
