Providing analytic and technical assistance and consultation to State surveillance programs regarding data collection, data interpretation, analysis, and use; Conducting scientific research on various risk factors of visual impairment, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndromes and other chronic conditions; Participating in the planning and development of yearly surveillance priorities, in the finalization of the questionnaire for the core and optional modules, in the reviewing of new funding request to implement new modules; Monitoring the data quality and generate site visit report for the States.
