Biographical Sketch:
Carolyn Muegge is the Research Manager for the Department of Family Medicine Bowen Research Center. Carolyn has earned an M.S. in Health Promotion from Purdue University and an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from Indiana University. Carolyn is the project epidemiologist for the Indiana Womens Diabetes Initiative. In this capacity, Carolyn has developed the evaluation plan and protocol, data collection system, and reporting plan. Carolyn has served the DFM for over nine years directing, implementing and managing research projects varying scope and magnitude. As a masters-prepared epidemiologist Carolyn’s responsibilities include research project development, implementation and evaluation. Carolyn has strong research and project administration skills and has a high level of understanding for the importance of the protection of human subjects. As the Research Manager for the DFM and INET, Carolyn has worked independently and with Departmental faculty to produce several abstracts, reports, and manuscripts.
