Board-certified genetic counselor with 13 years of clinical experience, including reproductive and family history risks for diabetics (1990-2003) Responsible for coordination and integration of public health genomics into chronic disease programs, including diabetes (2004-present) Project manager for 5 year CDC Cooperative Agreement to integrate genomics into chronic disease programs, including diabetes (2004-2008) Project manager for Michigan Sudden Cardiac Death of the Young surveillance project (2006- present) Project manager for 3 year CDC Cooperative Agreement to promote appropriate use of cancer genetic testing through surveillance, provider education, and health plan policies (2008- present) Member of Diabetes Partners in Action (DPAC) (2004-present) Author on several reproductive genetics, public health genomics and genetic counseling peer-reviewed articles, including diabetes genomics and epidemiology Numerous presentations on reproductive genetics, public health genomics and diabetes at national and state conferences
