Administrator of Planning and Development January 2006-present Diabetes Prevention and Control Program Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity, Bureau of Health Promotion and Risk Reduction, Pennsylvania Department of Health Responsible for statewide planning, development, evaluation, federal and community relations components of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program Responsibilities include assessing, planning, directing, administering, implementing and evaluating the statewide Diabetes Prevention and Control Program planning, stakeholder, public and health education activities. Convenes the statewide Pennsylvania Diabetes Action Partnership, Program Coordinator July 2003-January 2006 Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program (SPBP) Bureau of Policy, Budget, and Planning, Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Planned, developed, administered, and implemented operations of the Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program (SPBP) including convening the SPBP Drug Formulary Advisory Board. Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program is a statewide program for low and moderate income individuals and families that helps pay for specific drug therapies used for the treatment of persons with HIV/AIDS.
