Biographical Sketch:
Kathy Stroh is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She provides technical assistance to community health centers’ staff, monitors performance of diabetes educators and develops/implements education programs related to all aspects of diabetes prevention and care. She is involved in many state and national initiatives related to comprehensive diabetes care, including worksite diabetes education, depression and diabetes in women, electronic medical records and diabetes education, accuracy of reporting on death certificates, health literacy and targeted diabetes prevention efforts. She has presented at state and national conferences, including the American Association of Diabetes Educators Annual Meetings, the National Prevention Summit, the Delaware Diabetes Expo, the Delaware Women's Wellness Expo, the Delaware Dietetic Association, the CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation Conference, the Obesity and Overweight in Women Conference (Delaware Office of Women’s Health), the MidAtlantic Association of Community Health Centers’ Conference and the Eastern Evaluation Society. She is past- Chair of the Public Health Specialty Practice Group of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors’ Women’s Health Council.
