Leader of the Coalition for a Smokefree Virgin Islands, a group of prominent business leaders and community advocates seeking a smokefree territory through comprehensive legislation and the use of local data to support the claim.
2006-2008--Acting Project Director, Virgin Islands Prevention (VIP), State Incentive Grant (SIG), VI Department of Health, Christiansted, VI
In this capacity, responsible for coordinating the implementation of the 2006 and 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) in both Virgin Island districts; St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John. This activity greatly impacted the territory as the data from both YRBS were used to create baseline infomation on various topics to include tobacco and alcohol use and prevelance rates.
