2007-Present --Epidemiologist, North Carolina Diabetes Prevention and Control Program
1995-2007--Economic Analyst, Current Employment Statistics, State of Michigan, Detroit, Michigan
Collected, analyzed and reported state level employment data to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Benchmarked current Employment data to Universal data and fixed the problem data. Worked on 67 page"Women and Employment' document. Disseminated employment data to researchers, forecasters, state government officials and other data users. Worked on various projects relating to employment data.
1992-1995-- Tax analyst, H & R Block, Pontiac, Michigan
Responsible for development and printing of "The Burden of Diabetes in North Carolina" and published both in print and on NC diabetes website.
Written several fact sheets including diabetes prevalence by gender, race, age, education, and income, and type 1 diabetes.
Presented at national and state health conferences, East Carolina Diabetes Fellowship, and Project DIRECT Academy.
