2007-present -- Public Health Advisor, Program Development Branch, DDT, CDC, Atlanta, GA 2003-2007 -- Forensic psychometrist, Phoenix Associates, McDonough, GA 1996-2001 -- Co-Director, Parenting with Personality, Atlanta, GA 1993-1995 -- Crisis Counselor and Parent Educator, Georgia Council on Child Abuse, Atlanta, GA 1989-1993 -- Deputy Regional Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, San Francisco, CA 1978-1989 -- Various management positions of increasing responsibility, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Washington, D.C. Currently responsible for the following functions: consulting with State Diabetes Prevention and Control Programs (DPCPs) to navigate CDC's procedures, policies, and organizational structure; responding to partners' specific needs and situations; providing leadership for both new and traditional partners in the public health community; collaborating with partners, practitioners, researchers, and policy makers to share effective prevention and control strategies and expertise; and planning and evaluating programs. Numerous presentations at professional meetings, including the American Hospital Association, the American Health Care Association, and the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
