Biographical Sketch:
Sarah Lewis is an ORISE Fellow in Health Communications with the National Diabetes Education Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to coming to CDC, she was a social marketing manager for the chronic disease prevention and health promotion programs at the Arizona Department of Health Services. Her expertise includes the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of health communication programs, with particular emphasis on qualitative formative research methodologies. She has over eight years of experience in marketing for the public and private sectors. Ms. Lewis earned her M.P.H. in social and behavioral sciences and graduate certificate in health communications from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2009. She has also maintained credentials as a certified health education specialist since 2005.
