Administrative oversight of the Office of Health Services Research including budgeting, personnel management and fiscal responsibilities.
- Develop diabetes and cardiovascular education modules for health professions students, health care providers and clinic staff.
- Provide health education on diabetes and cardiovascular issues to providers in primary care clinics. Coordinate community health fairs and screenings.
- Conduct research and evaluation on diabetes and cardiovascular topics and projects.
Numerous presentations at state and national meetings including several presentations given at the Annual CDC Diabetes Translation Conferences.
