Contract Manager for Diabetes Prevention and Control Program
In 2002, developed, Implemented, and facilitated an ongoing full day introductory cultural competency training program. Training has since been offered to over 1,600 community and health care partners throughout New York State. Resources and educational materials are offered as part of the curriculum.
In 2009, developed, implemented, and facilitated the first in a series of advanced CLAS Standards trainings.
Work with diabetes partners throughout New York State towards the reduction of health disparities via public education and policy, systems, and environmental change efforts.

Chair – Vision and Eye Health Council - 2009
Work with vision partners throughout U.S. to reduce health disparities. Efforts are underway to promote integration of vision health messages and activities into existing state health department programs.
