Biographical Sketch:
Tracy Perkins currently serves as a Public Health Analyst in the Center for Disease Control’s National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division of Adult and Community Health (DACH) as a member of the Community Health and Program Services (CHAPS) Branch. Ms. Perkins plays a central role in efforts within the Branch addressing racial and ethnic health disparities. Most recently she participated in the development and implementation of the first Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities Action Institute (REHDAI). She also served as Project Officer with the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Program. Ms. Perkins received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her past work experience also includes Foster Care Case Management with the Office of Community Services.
