DrTango, Inc. – Roswell, GA Research Director June 2008 – Present • Manage multi-faceted projects for key clients that generally involve a combination of translation, video, website, and/or cultural adaptation projects relating to health and welfare programs • Interact regularly with clients as project progresses, write weekly progress reports and manage schedules Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education – Atlanta, GA CDC/ORISE Guest Researcher, Division of Diabetes Translation March 2007 – June 2008 • Conducted a Technical Review and budget markup for the National Alliance for Hispanic Health (Alliance) grantee. • Wrote proposal and received $30,000 of Supplemental Funding for the RTH Training Video from CDC. • Assisted in the development of new science and audience-based bilingual products, tools, and messages for the Hispanic/Latino community. • Trained over 80 community health workers (CHWs) using the Road to Health (RTH) Training Guide and provided technical assistance for each training.
