Biographical Sketch:
I have worked in as an epidemiologist in the field of public health for the past ten years, the past six in Public Health Statistics providing statistical support to both the Tobacco Control and the VT DPCP. I work with several data sources to provide this information. These include the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, the Vermont Vital Statistics and the data from the Vermont Healthier Living Workshop. I frequently present this information both to program representatives at the Department of Health and to outside stakeholders, including members of the Vermont Diabetes Coordinating Council. I have also been involved with the CDC and Sustainability Institute creating a Diabetes Systems Model to help predict effectiveness of diabetes interventions.
