In this role assisted clients with individualized exercise plan and taught group exercise classes.
1999 to present Exercise Specialist and Health Promotion Consultant with the Comprehensive Diabetes Center, Chickasaw Nation Health System, Ada, Oklahoma
In this role, serves as a member of a multi-disciplinary team work one on one with persons with diabetes. She establishes an individualized exercise plan for each newly diagnosed person with diabetes and monitors physical activity of clients on a regular basis. She serves as a Certified Breast Feeding Consultant (2004) both the Women's Clinic and the Diabetes Center. Visits each newly postpartum woman and advises on breast feeding techniques and teaches breastfeeding classes.
She received her CHES in 2006. As the Health Promotion Consultant she manages the Diabetes Camp and teaches diabetes self-management classes.
