Biographical Sketch:
I have been the epidemiologist and evaluation lead for the Wisconsin Diabetes Prevention and Control Program (WDPCP) for almost nine years. In this job, I do the following: 1) Provide complex statewide epidemiologic surveillance, analytic epidemiology, and evaluation services for the WDPCP, 2) Design, implement and maintain a statewide diabetes epidemiologic surveillance system, 3) Analyze epidemiologic data, recommend prevention and control measures, 4) Provide technical consultation and project coordination, evaluation assistance, report writing and coordination with other agencies, 5) Work with Diabetes Advisory Group, organizations and regional staff to accomplish goals of WDPCP, 6) Provide technical assistance to local public health departments, grantees and individuals.
