BACKGROUND:
The Arizona registry has increased it value to private providers by linking with many partner programs. The results are reflected in many ways beyond improved immunization coverage levels.

OBJECTIVE:
To increase value and improve participation in the Arizona registry by making complete information available to physicians and community partners about child immunization.

METHOD:
A survey of eight groups of registry users assesses use patterns and data value to each group. Responses indicate variations of use of data, applicability to program outcomes and impact on participants.

RESULT:
Data is collected from multiple sources to build the registry database. Users increase reliance on data and demand higher quality and more complete information. Data use by multiple partners increases measurable program cost savings, reductions in vaccine wastage, reduction in unneeded physician appointments, fewer exclusions from school and increased preventive services for children.

CONCLUSION:
Expanding the network of registry partners may increase workload in the shortrun, but it increases registry value.
With the addition of each partner, the quality and demand for data increased with significant results including: improved immunization rates, reduced work loads and better health and well being for children in Arizona.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Identify appropriate partners for registry participation.
Improve registry acceptance by users by sharing program outcomes.
