A10: Registry-Related Legislation and its Impact on Registry Development

This session will examine the impact of legislation on Immunization Registries. It will discuss the experience of Indiana that involved the private medical community to lobby for, and successfully pass, legislation. It will also discuss a legislation example from Michigan.
Learning Objectives: Describe how federal and state legislation have influenced management decisions and partnerships regarding the sharing of immunization data.
