A8: It's Not Just For Kids Anymore - Expansion of Immunization Registries to Adult Populations

This session will describe the way an Immunization Registry has expanded its scope to include adolescent and adult populations. It will look at an example involving a geriatric population in a demonstration project. A second example will highlight the experience of adding an adolescent population to one county’s Registry.
Learning Objectives: Attendees will be able to compare pediatric and geriatric providers' attitudes towards immunization registry participation. they will also be able to describe both the challenges and benefits associated with the increased demands of this type of expansion.
