BACKGROUND:
The PROW project provides Standards of Excellence for how an immunization program can more fully utilize its immunization registry to support other program activities. This session highlights the lessons learned from the 13 one-year demonstration sites.

OBJECTIVE:
1. Summarize the results and lessons learned from the 13 PROW demonstration sites so that others can implement the PROW Standards of Excellence in their settings.
2. Convey the variety of ways in which PROW Standards can be implemented, depending upon the organizational context and level of registry development.

METHOD:
Results were summarized from the final PROW evaluation survey.

RESULT:
The PROW Standards of Excellence are applicable in a variety of organizational contexts and to both new and mature registries.

CONCLUSION:
PROW provides practical strategies for ensuring registries effectively support other components of an immunization program.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Learn how various demonstration sites used the PROW Standards of Excellence to ensure other immunization program staff used the registry as part of their routine work.
2. Identify ways in which the learner can apply the PROW Standards of Excellence in their own settings.
