E6: Hepatitis Vaccination Programs for High Risk Adolescents and Adults

Vaccine-preventable viral hepatitis is a major public health problem in the United States. Targeting hepatitis prevention services for high risk populations is essential for prevention and control of these diseases. Speakers in this workshop will present strategies, share experiences, and discuss barriers to reaching high risk populations with hepatitis vaccination services in a variety of settings and programs serving high risk clients.
Learning Objectives: -Describe strategies to integrate hepatitis vaccination into existing programs that serve high risk populations. -Discuss barriers to adult immunization, and ways to overcome barriers. -Identify venues that enhance vaccine acceptance . -Describe novel approaches to enhancing outreach efforts and series completion.
