Hepatitis B vaccination in correctional facilities has been recommended since 1982. Programs in a diversity of correctional settings have been developed to implement this recommendation. Programs from juvenile detention, jail and prison will be discussed in this workshop, focusing on implementation issues and successes. |
Learning Objectives: Participants in this session should be able to describe the elements for implementing a successful hepatitis B vaccination program in a variety of correctional settings.
