C3: Vaccine Safety Studies

The science of vaccine safety has begun to broaden its horizons with a variety of innovative approaches, including cost-effectiveness analysis and risk estimation. At the same time new technologies offer the promise of safer immunization practices.
Learning Objectives: Describe a range of scientific approaches to vaccine safety issues, including cost-effectiveness analysis, literature reviews, and pre-licensure clinical trials.
