C13: Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA): Measurement, Implementation and Evaluation

The GPRA Immunization Initiative goal is to improve the immunization coverage level of two-year-old children enrolled in Medicaid. This project is unique in allowing each state to determine how to measure coverage levels, design and implement immunization related quality improvement activities tailored to the state’s need. The GPRA Initiative also promotes collaboration between the state Medicaid agency and the state Immunization program to achieve improved immunization coverage levels.
Learning Objectives: After attending this workshop, participants should have a basic understanding of how the CMS GPRA Immunization Initiative is measured, implemented and factors used to evaluate the process.
