D10: Economic Evaluation of Immunization Programs

This session will discuss:; 1) Cost-effectiveness analysis of delivering vaccines among different type of clinics; 2) Cost analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, and benefit-cost analysis of current perinatal hepatitis B vaccination program.
Learning Objectives: After this session, the participant should be able to: 1) understand how an immunization program and vaccine delivering system may be assessed using economic methodology; 2) understand how to use these economic analyses to help their decision-making; 3) understand how to characterize the population utilizing immunization - only clinics; 4) understand the analytical potential of using CDC’s immunization -only clinic evaluation toolkit; 5) understand the status of current perinatal hepatitis B vaccination program.
