D16: Immunization Registry Impact on Provider Operations
A long-standing barrier to increasing provider and patient participation in immunization registries is the challenge of integrating the registry into clinic operations. Presenters will share results of studies in which they investigated a registry’s potential to facilitate intervention, the rate of adoption of an immunization registry in private practice, and how implementation of a registry in a private practice impacted both patients and staff.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to describe the potential and actual impact of immunization registry implementation on clinics, providers, their staff, and patients.
