B14: Community Partnerships: Focusing for Success

This workshop will provide information on three community immunization partnerships which positively impacted their communities by focusing on specific issues based on community needs. These issues including community immunization needs and structure, pockets-of-need, and influenza vaccine. By focusing their efforts these partnerships were able to ensure success.
Learning Objectives: Attendees will be able to: a) identify how a community’s immunization strengths and challenges can be determined b) implement a strategy for identifying pocket of need areas and articulate strategies to initiate and implement collaborative interventions in those areas c) identify a process of forming and keeping partnerships to complete public health goals.
