B14: Pharmacists: a Valued Partner for the Public's Health

This session will provide an overview of how pharmacists are collaborating with public health departments and other providers to meet public health goals and patient needs.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to describe ways pharmacists are collaborating with public health departments to increase immunization rates, state the beliefs of pharmacists regarding their public health roles, describe best practices that can be implemented across the country, and list resources available to establish collaboration with pharmacists.
