E6: Meeting the Challenges of Immunizing Adults

This session will provide an overview of the following challenges to immunizing adults: 1) the barriers; 2) ethnic and racial disparities; and 3) implementing effective strategies.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to identify the barriers that limit the use of disease preventing vaccines by adults in the U.S., replicate strategies to promote the standards of adult immunizations, and develop motivational immunization messages and materials for minority seniors.
