F12: What Factors are Associated with Vaccination Coverage in Nursing Homes, and do Influenza and Pneumococcal Vaccines Really Prevent Disease Among Nursing Home Residents?

Presenters in this workshop will discuss the use of standing orders and other nursing home characteristics associated with influenza and pneumococcal vaccination coverage and how those vaccines impact morbidity and mortality among nursing home residents.
Learning Objectives: Participants will understand nursing home and resident characteristics associated with influenza and pneumococcal vaccination coverage and the impact of those vaccines on morbidity and mortality among nursing home residents.
