F1: Developing a "Toolkit" for Orienting and Training Immunization Staff |
| This workshop will focus on resources that are available for orienting and training staff regarding routine immunization practice, including: standards of practice, epidemiology of vaccine-preventable disease, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice, proper screening and administration of vaccines, emergency management and reporting of adverse events, and proper vaccine storage and handling. |
Learning Objectives: At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to identify several resources that can be used to develop an orientation and training toolkit for immunization staff.
