F14: Five years of GPRA: Challenges & Results

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) immunization GPRA project has completed the first 5 year’s of implementation and the group I states have formally finished the project in 2003. The goal of this GPRA initiative is to improve the immunization coverage level of 2 year old children enrolled in Medicaid. What challenges have the groups encountered implementing this project, how they are addressing these challenges and lessons learned from these experiences will be presented in this workshop.
Learning Objectives: The participants will be able to list three challenges encountered by the states participating in this GPRA project.
