F9: Economic Analyses and Decision Making in Vaccines (Prevention Effectiveness)

One important component in immunization recommendations is economic evaluation. However, incorporation of economic information has been limited in terms of methodological and analytical sophistication This workshop will deal with methodological and analytical components present in modern vaccine economics, and will discuss strategies to incorporate those components into the research, decision-making process and education of public health researchers.
Learning Objectives: After this session, participants should be able to identify the components of thorough economic analysis.
