B9: Hepatitis A Vaccination among Children

Basic hepatitis A vaccine coverage data is lacking in many areas. In addition, relatively little is known about factors the influence parental acceptance of hepatitis A vaccine. Workshop speakers and participants will discuss several recent studies on factors influencing hepatitis A vaccination coverage, as well as the further research needed to measure the impact of vaccination on hepatitis A epidemiology.
Learning Objectives: After attending this workshop, participants should be able to list three factors associated with parental acceptance of hepatitis A vaccination and vaccine coverage.
