F8: Advancing Pandemic Influenza Planning through Table-Top Exercises

In this workshop the experiences from 3 states in planning and conducting pandemic influenza table top exercises will be described. Lessons learned from the process as well as the impact of exercises on the planning process will be discussed. Finally, newly developed software to estimate the impact of a pandemic on hospitals will be demonstrated.
Learning Objectives: After participating in this workshop, participants should be able to dentify key steps in planning and conducting a tabletop exercise and understanding how exercises can improve the planning process.
