A4: Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Immunization Initiative (READII)

Project Coordinators from two of the five READII demonstration sites – Chicago and San Antonio – will be joined by the NIP READII Project Coordinator and NIP’s contractor, Academy for Educational Development, to describe programmatic and communications-related activities during the first 18 months of this multi-year effort to address on-going low influenza and pneumococcal vaccination rates among Black and Hispanic elderly.
Learning Objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to describe the influenza (flu) and pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV) vaccination disparities among minority elderly.
