I4: Catching the Cases | |||
Presenters in this workshop will discuss surveillance for vaccine preventable diseases. The first presenter will discuss ways to improve serogroup reporting for meningococcal disease in an effort to assess vaccine impact and to inform vaccine policy and development. The second speaker will highlight ways to improve completeness of serotype reporting for Haemophilus influenzae to ensure that surveillance data can better inform vaccine program evaluation. The last speaker will outline approaches to implementing active surveillance for pertussis and will highlight the important lessons learned. | |||
