42nd National Immunization Conference (NIC): Targeting Adolescents Outside the Medical Home

Targeting Adolescents Outside the Medical Home

Adolescent healthcare patterns differ from infants and children. Providing vaccines in venues outside of the traditional setting of primary care may be needed to target hard-to-reach adolescents. In this workshop, presenters will discuss the feasibility of providing vaccines in non-traditional settings, potential venues for educating pregnant and parenting teens, and present an example of providing HPV in high-schools to reach teenage girls.
