43rd National Immunization Conference (NIC): Getting the Word Out About Vaccine Benefits and Risks: Discussions of National- and State-Level Communication Efforts

This workshop highlights two projects that have used emotional appeal and real people to try to build trust in vaccines and the science behind them: a print booklet that includes real people affected by these diseases, and using celebrities and medical professionals to gain media attention.
