Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Wilson is a family nurse practitioner and has been on faculty at UMKC since 1995, first teaching in the FNP program and currently serving as Association Dean. He has been funded by the CDC, American Nurses Foundation and other organizations to conduct research on immunizations and school-based immunization programs. Findings from his research have been published in peer reviewed journals and presented both regionally and nationally. Over the past three years he has been invited to and served on CDC sponsored task forces regarding adolescent immunization issues. He is President of the American College of Nurse Practitioners and previously served as a national board member.
