Biographical Sketch:
Rebecca Bak is a fourth year MD/MPH student at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York, NY). As part of her training, she is currently a CDC Experience Fellow and assigned to the Meningitis and Vaccine Preventable Disease Branch. Ms. Bak’s primary area of work at CDC is parapertussis epidemiology and pertussis surveillance in Latin America. She will return to medical school in July 2010 and plans to enter residency in family medicine.
