Biographical Sketch:
Health Scientist at the CDC/NCIRD/ISSSB: Provides programmatic and technical assistance to state and local health departments and the private health care sector to develop and implement sustainable community-based immunization registries. Monitors the progress of state and local immunization programs in meeting interim registry goals through site visits, immunization surveillance, survey analysis, and evaluation studies. Performs special projects; develops and maintains working relationships with appropriate partner agencies (e.g., All Kids Count, FDA, software vendors). Coordinates the center’s Immunization Information System Sentinel Site Workgroup. This workgroup proposes research studies using immunization registries and ad-hoc research questions used in quarterly immunization registry surveillance reports.
