2005-Present-- Acute Communicable Disease Epidemiologist, Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Division of Disease Control, Philadelphia, PA 2003-2005- Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologist Fellow--Foodborne Epidemiology, Michigan Department of Community Health, Lansing,MI 1997-2003- Research Associate, University of Michigan Medical Center, Department of Pediatric and Communicable Disease, Ann Arbor, MI Tracks infectious disease and develops and implements tools for identifying and following infectious disease (non-TB and non- STD) outbreaks. Conducts ad-hoc analyses to summarize demographic and risk factors information for epidemiologic investigations. Foodborne epidemiologist responsible for the coordination of multi-state and in-state outbreaks. Monitored parasitic, bacterial and viral gastrointestinal illness. Studied the pathogenesis of non-typable Haemophilus influenza in cell-culture based models
