Biographical Sketch:
For the past six years, I have been the immunization registry manager for the San Diego Regional Immunization Registry (SDIR), part of the California Immunization Registry.
The SDIR is an internet-based system and operates within the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) Immunization Branch.
For most of that time, I have served on state and national registry-related committees and workgroups that focus on peer support and sharing best practices in immunization registry operations and support to immunization programs.
In November of this year, I assumed the role of President of the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA).
In my role as registry manager, Since 2004, I have attended and presented at oral and poster sessions at the National Immunization Conference.
