Biographical Sketch:
Milan Hill is a health educator for the Health Education Administration Program within the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. For the past 2 and a half years she has served as the Speakers' Bureau Coordinator for the Department. Responsibilities as coordinator include overseeing the development, training, dissemination, request fulfillment, tracking and evaluations of presentations on emergency or "high priority" topics within Los Angeles County. During this season's H1N1 mass vaccination mobilization, the Department of Public Health activated ICS structure. Ms. Hill, along with the Speakers' Bureau played a pivotal role in the Communications branch of the ICS structure and was used as a risk communication resource for educating various stakeholders and community groups on H1N1 and our vaccination efforts around the county.
